We are looking for a punctual person who can work well in a team as well as independently.
The Mansion is willing to train.

Tour Guide Expectations

Guides are expected to dress in appropriate period attire, maintain a professional appearance and behavior. They must learn scripted material to tell the story of the Conrad family. Guides possess a pleasant voice and use correct grammar. The position requires crowd control techniques to be used to create a pleasant tour environment. Guides also perform light house cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, clean restrooms, etc.).

Guides are taught to know how to use a cash register, learn the credit card procedure, merchandise pricing, re-stocking and cleaning the shop. They assist in opening and closing the Museum, answer phones and doors when necessary, and assisting with preservation activities.

Physical demands: lifting 25-50 lbs., pushing, stooping, standing for 1-1 1/2 hours at a time, walking, stairs and ladders.
